Our Hoover vacuum has seen better days.
We've vacuumed up one too many rugs and allowed way too many items to wrap around the brush roll. I decided to do something about it.
Today I replaced the brush roll, belt and filter. When I finished, it worked so much better!

Today I replaced the brush roll, belt and filter. When I finished, it worked so much better!
The old belt (on the right) was so stretched out that the vacuum no longer self-propelled. I actually forgot that it was supposed to self-propel! It was a nice little surprise when I tested it after replacing everything.
Mark laughed at me when he saw me dust-busting the inside of the vacuum. In my defense, there was A LOT of dust in it!
