I especially loved watching President Obama and former President Bush say goodbye. I wish I could have been there to hear what they were talking about. I'm glad that the transition was smooth and that there were smiles all around.

Momentous Occasion
I love days like today. It makes me feel united with all Americans.

I fully agree, Mandy! I thought it was so rude when people booed President Bush when he was introduced and when they cheered to see him leave Washington when the helicopter left. Civility like the two couples displayed is just plain good taste, and good breeding. No wonder President bush was happy to get back to Texas. Poor guy. He is just a man who did his best.
